Hopefully by now you are aware that we will be migrating the PromoteMyPlace service to a new server environment next week. If not, please see this article - https://promotemyplace.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/216228983
We can now confirm that the migration will take place Wednesday 28th August from 9pm until 11pm (GMT). During this time you will not be able to login to your PromoteMyPlace website to make changes, but your website will remain online for visitors to view.
If you are using an A record to point your domain name to your PromoteMyPlace website, on Thursday 29th August or sometime soon after you will need to login to the control panel for your domain name provider and update the IP address of the A Record to 78.109.169.186
IMPORTANT: Please do not update your domain name settings until we have confirmed that the migration was successful
We expect there to be minimal disruption to the service, but if you do experience any issues, please get in touch via the support system.
If you have any questions, or need any assistance, please email us at support@promotemyplace.zendesk.com
Kind regards,
The PromoteMyPlace Team

We are pleased to confirm that the PromoteMyPlace service was successfully migrated to the new server environment on Wednesday evening between 9pm and 11pm (GMT), with no disruptions.
Most customers do not need to do anything, but if you are using an A record to point your domain name to your PromoteMyPlace website, rather than the standard 'name server method', you must now login to the control panel for your domain name provider and update the A Record to point to the following IP address:
78.109.169.186
You have until the 30th September 2013 to do this, at which point, if you have not changed the IP address, your website will no longer be available online.
If you are not sure whether this applies to you, or need any assistance, please email us at support@promotemyplace.zendesk.com
We will be monitoring things closely over the coming weeks, but if you spot any issues please get in touch via the support system.
Kind regards,
The PromoteMyPlace Team
