To add, remove or change images on your website, simply follow the instructions below:
Adding a header Image
This can be displayed on all pages of your website or only the homepage if you select 'Show main image on home page only?'
- Log in to your PromoteMyPlace account
- Select option 2 'Choose & Customise Template'
- Click into 'Edit Header Image' using the left hand tool bar
- Click on the button 'Add Header Image'
- This will bring up a new screen for you to choose whether to rotate multiple images (and therefore upload multiple images from your PC), or to simply upload 1 image to display as your header image:
- Click on 'New Image' which will bring up your photo editor manager and from here you can select an image already uploaded, or click 'Upload' in the top right-hand corner to upload a new image from your PC.
- Once your image is in place, click 'Save' to save all changes:
Adding a background image to your website:
First, you must select the template within Section 2 'Choose & Customise Template', 'Choose Background' that has the background option as not all the templates allow for a large background image:
Click the 'Upload Background' button and choose the image you want to upload from your computer or tablet, then click 'Upload'.
TIP: Choose a landscape image so that it formats correctly as the background (since all computers and tablets display as landscape, not portrait).
Then once it's in place click the 'Preview' button to view it and make sure it represents your property and the local area well.

Adding images to side columns on specific pages of your website:
The final way to have images display on your website is by adding them to your side column. This will be page-specific i.e. if you'd like to display a few teaser images of your accommodation on the 'Details' page alongside your text as well as on your main 'Photos' page.
To add images to your side column, follow the instructions below:
- Log in to your PromoteMyPlace account
- Select option 3 'Edit Website Content'
- Using the left-hand menu click into the page you wish to add images to the side column section
- Scroll down the page slightly until you see the 'Photos (optional)' section:
- Click on the button 'Add photos' which will bring up your image manager
- Either select the image if already uploaded, or click 'Upload' in the top right-hand corner if choosing a new image from your PC
- Once your image is in place, click 'Save' to save all changes
