How to create a menu item that links directly to another webpage on the internet

If you'd like to create a menu item that links directly to another webpage on the internet simply follow the instructions below:

• Log in to your PromoteMyPlace account
• Go into Section1 'Website Basics'
• Click into 'Website Pages' using the left hand menu
• Click the 'Add New Page' button then scroll down and click the 'Add Custom Page' button
• Create your page name and choose if it is to be located on the main menu, sub menu or footer menu
• Then using the dropdown box provided, select the page content by choosing the option to 'Link to another page on the internet' as shown in the visual below:

• Don't forget to click 'Save'
• Now head over to the 'Edit Website Content' section and using the left hand menu click into the new custom page you've just created
• Enter the URL of the external webpage you'd like that menu item to open when a website visitor clicks on it
• Don't forget to save!

• You can select if you'd like the link to open in a new tab, or in the same window. We always recommend ensuring that any 3rd party pages are opened in a new tab so that your website visitors never fully navigate away from your website.  
• Now that menu item will automatically link directly to the external webpage when clicked.
