PromoteMyPlace offers a range of options for you to display your header image all of which can be managed via Section 2 'Choose & Customise Template'.
Once there, go into Edit Header Image
Scroll down the page until you get to the 'Header Image Options' button - click on it.
The first option is to display:
1 - Static Image
Select one image that you'd like to display as the header image across all pages of your website.
To display more than one image click the 'Rotate more than one image' and a new screen will appear giving you the option to display more than one image in your header:
2 - Slideshow display
Select the 'Slideshow' option and the rotational speed (in seconds) and upload as many images as you wish that will rotate across the header display of your website.
3 - Random Display
This allows you to upload multiple images to your website header display so when a user clicks on to a new page of your website, a different random image from the header selection you've uploaded will display.
4 - Assign images to pages
This also allows you to upload multiple images to your header display, but here you can assign a specific image to a specific page of your website e.g. an image of the local area can be selected to display on your Local Area page.
Go back out to the main screen (clicking Save to validate any changes to your header display section) and you have the option to display this section on the homepage only.
This avoids any unnecessary scroll on pages once your website visitors delve into your site to find out more, providing an easier user experience.
