When you click on the 'Add Photos' option on any page of your website when in edit mode, the following pop-up image manager box will appear:
Image Organisation Note: If you wish to organise your images into folders, you must create the folder before uploading the images. Scroll down for more information on creating folders.
From here you can simply click the 'Upload' button (highlight in yellow) to add all the images you want to display throughout your website. TIP: You can upload all images at once and then select the ones you wish to display when on the relevant page simply by clicking the 'Add Photos' button and then selecting the image you wish to display from the library of images already uploaded.
A pop-up box will appear once the 'Upload' button has been clicked with an 'Add Files' option. Click this option to select all photos from your computer or tablet that you wish to upload:
Once you've selected one or all of the photos you want to upload, click 'OK' and you'll see them all displayed in the pop-up window as shown below:
TIP: To select more than one image to upload at a time, hold down the 'CTRL' key on your keyboard and click on all images you wish to upload. When you're ready then click the 'OK' button.
When all the images are displayed in the pop-up window, simply click the 'Upload' button highlighted in blue for them to be added to MoxieManager.
You will then see all the images being uploaded. Once the percentage of all images reaches 100% you will be able to click the 'Close' button to navigate back to the main MoxieManager dashboard.
The image uploaded is now saved in the main MoxieManager dashboard:
To select the image you wish to embed into the page you are editing, simply click on the relevant photo and then click on the blue 'Insert' button.
TIP: You can select more than one image to add to a webpage by clicking the bottom right-hand corner of each image for a tick to appear, then when you've chosen all images to add to that page, simply click the blue 'Insert' button:
Creating folders for photo organisation:
To create folders to upload certain images to for better organisation, follow these instructions:
BEFORE uploading any images, click the 'Create' button as highlighted below followed by the 'Folder' button that will appear next:
Label the folder and click the blue 'Create' button:
Create as many folders as you like by completing the same process:
TIP: To get back to the main dashboard if you click into any of the folders, simply click the folder number which appears in the left-hand column above 'Favourites' - in this instance, it is '1150'
Then when you're ready, click on one of the folders and start uploading your images by following the steps outlined in the 'Uploading images' section:
You can choose to edit, rename, add to favourites (if it's an image you'll use over and over in your website) and more within the 'Manage' section, as well as sort by file name, date, size, etc, in the 'Sort' section.
When editing, there are a variety of options which is down to your own personal preference and requirements. The most relevant are perhaps the 'Crop' and 'Resize' options - but don't forget you can also 'Crop' a header display image after the image has been embedded into the header.
