Does my website need a cookie policy?

The PromoteMyPlace website uses cookies as do all CMS systems, so with regards the EU law changes we have added a cookies policy to all our customer websites.

This page will display what cookies are on your website and what they are used for and will be specific to each of our customer’s websites. These changes will get you mostly compliant.

As an optional widget, you can choose to have a ‘Cookie Consent’ button that will ask all users of your website for their consent before placing any cookies on their computer. So if you are using Google Analytics and any of the Social Media Widgets (AddThis Share Button, YouTube Videos, Facebook Like Button, Google Plus One Button) they make use of what may be considered 'non-essential' cookies. By activating this widget your website will ask for consent before placing these cookies on the users computer. Please be aware that this will affect any reports for these third-party tools.
