Why am I getting the message "Your connection is not private" when viewing my website?

You may see error message (such as the one below) saying “your connection is not private” when trying to view your website.

This is usually because you have entered the URL incorrectly with https:// in front of your domain name, rather than http:// and you do not have an SSL certificate to allow traffic via https://

Make sure that your URL starts with http:// and try again. Your website should now load.
