How to Use the ‘Book Now’ Widget

You have the option to use the ‘Book now’ button or the ‘Book now’ form.

If you use the form, visitors must enter their start date, end date and number of guests before they are taken to the ‘Book Now’ page where they can fill out their details.

The ‘Book now’ button takes the visitor directly to the ‘Book Now’ page.

On the ‘Book Now’ form, if the property is available for those dates and they fall within all of the rules set up within the website, the total cost is shown.

The following messages will be displayed on the ‘Book Now’ form if there is a problem with the booking:

If the number of guests is too high:

• Unable to book selected dates: The property is unable to host those numbers in party.

If an invalid start date is chosen:

• Unable to book selected dates: Start date is not a valid changeover day

If an incorrect number of days are selected, the following message will be displayed:

• Unable to book selected dates: Weekend nightly breaks are not available.
• Unable to book selected dates: Weekday nightly breaks are not available.

If the number of nights chosen is less than the minimum, the following message will be displayed:

• Unable to book selected dates: The number of nights selected is less than the minimum stay for this rate band.

If the start day is not a changeover day as predefined, the following message will be displayed:

• Unable to book selected dates: Start date is not a valid changeover day.
