In the Reservation Manager and Online Booking system, you can set up the payment options for your bookings. The following options are available:
- Don’t accept payments online.
- Accept payment only after I confirm the booking.
- Accept payment - no confirmation required.
Don’t accept payments online means that if a guest books through the Book Now widget, you will receive a Booking Request email.
Accept Payment only after I confirm the booking means that you will receive a Booking Request email after the guest has booked.
Accept Payment - no confirmation required enables the guest to book immediately on the website. Once they have filled out the Book Now form, they will be required to pay the deposit, or the total amount if the date is after the balance due date.
There are 3 possible options that can be set within Section 11 - Reservations & Online Booking > Payment Options
- PayPal
- Stripe
- BACS
One or more of these must be set to accept payments.
If the PayPal option is set up and the guest selects the PayPal button, they will be linked directly to their PayPal account to make the payment.
If the Stripe option is set up and the guest selects the Stripe button, they can pay the outstanding amount by card.
If the Bank Transfer option is set up and the guest selects it, they will see the instructions to pay by Bank Transfer.
