If you have made an adjustment to a reservation or would like interim payments in the lead-up to the booking itself, you can do this by requesting an interim payment.
Here's how...
- Head to the Reservations
- Click on View next to the reservation you'd like to request the payment for then click Manage Payments
- Select Request Interim Payment and enter the amount
This will generate a new payment link. You can tweak the email text as needed to explain the payment request, and send to the guest.
On receipt of payment, this amount will automatically be deducted from the balance.
NOTE: If you are adding a cost to the booking, which is why you are requesting an interim payment (additional deposit, pool heating cost, etc.), you must first adjust the booking itself to account for the additional fee. Then send the interim payment request.
