How to verify ownership of your website if you’re using a .promotemyplace.com domain name

Please follow the instructions below carefully to ensure that you upload the correct code to Section 7 of your website. 

NOTE: In order to verify ownership of your website with Google, it must first be published live on the Internet.

To verify ownership of your website you will first need to register with Google Analytics.

Then once you have an account with them, follow the instructions provided in the link below to verify your website:

Scroll down the page and click on the 'Google Analytics tracking code' option and follow their instructions.

Please note: We’ve created an entire section for adding your Google Analytics tracking code, so there's no need to add the code to the Code Head section as Google advise. When logged into your account, simply head to Section 7 - Setup Google Analytics and enter the code into the field provided. 

Once you've added the file to your website, go back into Google Analytics and click 'Verify'.
