Bookings Information
CompletedI have emailed this suggestion to the PMP team but they have suggested that I also post it here for feedback from members. I have been delighted with my PMP web page and with the support I have received from this site to date. In addition to having my own web site hosted here I also list my property on two major holiday rentals sites, Owners Direct and HomeAway. OD has been a great success, but HA a complete waste of money - only one enquiry and no bookings - so I am not proposing to renew with HA when my subscription expires in a few months' time. However there is one feature of the HA site that I will miss greatly. They have a very useful facility to keep a record of all bookings including not just the dates of arrival and departure but details of the guests, number in party, ages of kids, their contact information, flight details, special requirements etc. Some of this is held on specific fields and the rest can be added via the 'notes' section. I share access to my HA page with my property manager in Spain so that he knows precisely who is coming when and can make all the necessary arrangements. It would be incredibly helpful to me if PMP could have a similar capability for page owners. How useful would others find it?

No Peter - it would be available via owner login only and is simply a diary/notebook showing all bookings, guest info etc. I also use the HA one to record deposits received, balances due and by when so I can timetable reminders. It's just a really useful log of all the stuff you need to know about your bookings and your visitors.

Just to let you know that we are currently working on a reservation management system that will provide the functionality that you outlined above.
It is still in development at the moment, but we hope to have a first phase released within the next month or so.

Apologies, we should have updated this ticket a while ago. Development of the reservation manager was completed several months ago and it is currently available in Beta whilst we gather feedback and make changes based on that feedback. Please see 'Reservations & Online Booking' section when logged in to your account.
We did send an email to all customers at the time of release, so you should have already been informed.
