Within the Edit Website Content > Rates a rate can be set for periods of time.
The rental rates table has the following columns, which you can choose whether to display by checking the box in show/hide columns:
To add a rate, choose a description e.g. High Season/Low Season, then select the dates that this rate will be between.
You can then choose to set a rate for the columns that have been selected above. One or more of these can be set.
Any of the rates set can be edited or deleted.
The guest will be charged based on the rate band that contains their arrival date.
If a guest books for dates spanning two different rate bands with different weekly rates, they will be charged the rate of the first rate band that the start date for the reservation falls within.*
If you wish to add a break that is not included in the rental rate bands, e.g. a midweek or long weekend break, you can add a custom break, see article ‘How to add/remove custom break types from your table’
Please note: For booking costs to be calculated correctly, your rate bands need to overlap by a day, so the end date of the previous rate band must be the same date as the start date of the next rate band e.g.
10th Jun - 10th Jul X Rate
10th Jul - 10th Aug X Rate
10th Aug - 10th Sept X Rate
Etc...
* We are currently developing the system to calculate percentages from each rate band if a booking spans multiple rate bands.
